Parmalat Consultant an embarrasment

I purchased a fresh cream from Pick & Pay Wynberg, Supper was completed the last item to be added was the cream to the pasta meal. When I added it in, the mixture curdled. I then smelt the product and what a terrible smell greted me. I then noticed the sell by date was Aug 2016 we in Nov 2016. I called the Parmalat call centre & was greeted by Claude, After explaining my ordeal was bluntly told that it is not a parmalat problem but a Pick & Pay. I asked how he said they must check every product unpacked, I said surely that is not possible. He continued that they must. I asked could the overdue product not have come from Parmalat to which he said no. I said but is it not possible he said no. I then defended Pick & Pay & said I am sure they would not keep one fresh cream hidden away until such time they ready to put it on the shelf. What I am disgruntled about is the fact that Claude had no empathy whatsoever for my situation not even apologising. No understanding was offered or even suggesting that he will have the matter investigated. When I suggested this he said no its not our responsibility, fuming I just said well then I guess it is a matter for Hello Peter to deal with as it is clear you not going to do anything about it.
