PARAMALAT YOGHURT PRODUCTS HAVE BLACK SPOT (FUNGI) IN IT

Last month, I purchased Parmalat yoghurt at a grocery shop at Fourways, Johannesburg area. When I got home and opened one of the yoghurts to consume. However, the taste of the yoghurt was bitter. I checked the yoghurt that I opened to consume and saw a black spot (like fungi). I checked the expiry date, and it was till valid. I ignored what had just happened and threw the yoghurt away.

Recently, I purchased the same Parmalat yoghurt at Pick&Pay grocery at Hayfields shopping centre at Pietermaritzburg. Unfortunately, I had the same experience of spotting black spots in 4 of the yoghurt cups.

I took pictures of the yoghurt cups and expiry date that is valid till the end of December 2022.

Product date on the yoghurt cups indicates: PD 11/11/22 20:11.

Best before on the yoghurt cups indicates: 31/12/22 B50/54 8

From my side, I do not know what harm this can do to consumers health. However, it will be appreciated that Parmalat South Africa takes this product off grocery retail shops in South Africa, inform and apologize to the public.
