Bulk cream cheese_molded and excessive loss!!
<p>I bought cream cheese (Parmalat medium fat cream cheese in 2.5kg) at Makro over the weekend. I open it today only to find that the product leaked through the plastic packaging within the container and started molding (pictures were taken). I bought the bulk size in an effect to save on my baking costs for my clients (orders due in 2 days). I would have been devastated to find this out the day before my deliveries were due but nonetheless it still is a R216 loss.</p> <p>Firstly, Parmalat is to blame for the inefficient packaging and coming out short 100g on the mass of the product. Then Makro is probably to blame for the molding if refridgeration was not up to standard. But that depends on when they received the delivery from Parmalat as this could have been their fault perhaps. Molding doesnt happen overnight.</p>
