Joe Parker's negligence is responsible for my mother falling!!!

<p>On the 14th of July 2016, I made the unfortunate choice to visit Parker's Comedy in Monte Casino with my mother. When we entered, the lighting, as expected, was very dim and we quickly chose our seats. My mother had to walk around the table to get to her seat and did not know the floor was lowered in front of the table. The tube lighting on that section was off. She fell. Badly.</p> <p>While sitting on the floor trying to collect herself, I called the manager and asked him to get the paramedics and also Joe Parker himself so that he can see that the lighting was off. I took pictures of same. I was informed that Joe Parker was not available.</p> <p>A few minutes later, the show started and Joe Parker came onto stage. We were on the floor to the front left of the stage. Joe Parker began the show and behaved as if he could not see my mother on the floor right in front of him. The paramedics came through and moved some tables and chairs out of the way. Joe again, behaved as if he could not see us some 3 metres away from him. We carried her onto the wheelchair and took her to the on site clinic.</p> <p>The paramedics advised us that there's a chance she's dislocated her hip and we should call an ambulance. I rushed back to Parker's and found Joe Parker sitting at the bar. I advised him that he is obviously fully aware that she's fallen at the venue and she needs to be rushed to the hospital but is not on Medical Aid. Can he assist us with getting am ambulance to her. His exact response was "I did not see her fall. My people did not see her fall. Only you saw her fall. I'm busy now so she must wait another 20 minutes before I can talk to you"</p> <p>Even if it was entirely her carelessness that caused the fall, I would've expected some form of compassion from him. More so since it was the negligence of not having proper lighting on that step that caused her to not notice it was a lowered floor. Joe Parker needs to take accountability for this.</p>
