Bad paint job

We were quoted for external redecoration at our holiday apartments a year ago. That included painting the ceilings and walls for a small 4-storey block.<br> The paint used was Prominent Paint and paintwork started in April 2014. The ceilings started peeling even before the paintwork on the passage walls was completed. The paintwork on the passage walls was sloppy and unprofessional and had to be touched up and re-done with unmatched paint as they kept running out of paint. In between we had to just sit and wait and a job that should have been completed in about 3 weeks dragged on for months and has not been completed to date. The contractor blamed water running down the overflow pipes for the peeling paint on the passages but the representative of Prominent Paint alleged that the contractor did not prepare the walls and ceilings before doing the paint job. After numerous phone calls, sms messages and meetings we are still left with patchy walls and peeling ceiling paint with the buck getting passed from one to another and nobody wanting to solve the problem. There has been no communication or contact with the contractor since April and the problem persists.
