HORRIBLE SERVICE BY PARAMOUNT BODY WORKS - PORT ELIZABETH

My car was approved by my insurance to be done by Paramount Body works in Port Elizabeth.

It took them from July 2022 - February 2023 ( 8 months) to get the parts ( Doors and fender) in, which I was initially informed that they will arrived in September 2022. The most upsetting thing is that the their receptionist does not have customer service, as in, they will never call you as they promise to update if the parts have arrived or not. I had to constantly call every month to check if the parts have arrived or not. They never call you back when enquiring. Finally parts arrived on 27 Feb 2023, did the reception lady call as per promise? No, she did not. I have been waiting since July 2022. on the 27th Feb 2023, I called to check only be informed then that the parts just arrived and I was supposed to bring my car. It was already past 15h00 on the 27th February and I had to fetch my child from school and get a car hire from airport so I dropped it at 08h00 on the 28th.

The paramount people said my car will be ready in 6 weeks( to change 2 doors and fender) since 27 February , the car has been with them and is still not back yet. no feedback as to when it will be finished. I called countless time, for them to say they will come back to me, by that they mean a message saying it is in line for panel beating after a week of enquiry.

Their service is poor, the receptionist even had the edacity to say we should have not bought haval if want my car to be fixed on time.

Their workshop response is horrible. My insurance ( Momentum) is even having problems to get response from their manager.

I advise people to never take their car to this pathetic service at paramount as if it's free. I WARN YOU, NEVER EVER ALLOW YOUR INSURANCE TO BOOK YOUR CAR AT PARAMOUNT BODY WORK IN PORT ELIZABETH.

I'm not even sure if they will do a good job, I'm expecting all sorts of problems. I will have to take it for inspection somewhere else to ensure they did a good service. I don't trust them , their reputation and how they have handled my case is bad.
