Toxic Generator Fumes

I live in a huge complex and have written numerous emails to the Body corporate, Trustees, Ward councillor and even to the Human rights commission about the toxic fumes from the generator exhaust which fill my flat every time we have load shedding. The exhaust is situated outside my flat which is two floors above the exhaust. The generator is very old and was not initially installed for load shedding but for the odd emergency that may occur. Some days the generator runs for four hours. When this happens during the day I make sure I leave my home so as not to inhale these toxic fumes. This is a huge inconvenience but I have no choice. My health is taking a strain due to these toxic fumes. I suffer from breathing problems, migraines, nausea, light headedness and throat irritation and coughing. I have also submitted a letter from my doctor voicing his concerns due to my frequent visits for nebulizing treatments. This exhaust needs to be moved but no one is taking this seriously. The response has been that they(Body Corporate) are aware of the problem, working on the problem and having the generator serviced. When we have load shedding from 22:00 - 00:00 or 04:00 - 06:00 I have to endure these toxic fumes as the generator runs. We often have outages as well which adds to the stress. I have sealed up my air vents, sealed around my windows and the fumes still find their way in. Surely this should be a priority as peoples health are at stake. This has been a issue for almost a year now. New chair persons and trustees have been voted in last month and now I have to start all over again. I send emails to the Body Corporate, they acknowledge receipt and there is no further feedback. How do I get someone to take action?
