Papi Auto Spares *******

I purchased engine spares for my Range Rover 5.0 Sc from the owner Papi 19/05/2020 who advertised it on Gumtree. He promised me that he will send all the engine spares he has on this engine for an amount we agreed upon and that the engine block is in good condition as I have a problem with mine. He sent me pics on Watsap of all the spares he had. I then paid him via EFT and booked the courier to collect it from his home address in Kings Avenue Randburg. His business is in Queens avenue Randburg. When I received the boxes and unsealed it, I discovered half the parts were missing and that the one sleeve on the engine block was cracked. I contacted him who never answered my calls and messages for several days despite seeing him online on Watsap. He eventually answered my call by then blaming the courier company. I explained to him that the boxes arrived at my place sealed and undamaged. I showed him the pics he sent me and what parts were missing in the pics. He then promised me he will check with his workers to hear what happened. I never heard from him again, and he again is not answering my calls or messages. He tries to come across as the most honest person, but beware its only a front. If you can buy directly from them and the parts are in front of you for inspection, you should be fine, but couriering it gives them devious ideas. I am now in the process of opening a case of ***** against him. Deal with this company at your own peril.
