Shameful behaviour from management

Our holiday started with a horrible experience at Papachinos Clearwater on Monday 23 September 2019. I was never so embarrassed and shocked at shameful behaviour in any restaurant in my life! My elderly Mom, myself and my 2 small kids already had milkshakes. They had spent a lot of money on the rides etc. And so decided to share a pizza. We didn't know about any special, but the waiter told us about half price pizza. I asked if it's okay for the kids to eat with, and the waiter said yes. Later on probably a manager came around and asked if we know about the special, so I said yes the waiter told us. So he said the kids aren't allowed to eat with! I said that's what the waiter told us. But I said then he must take the pizza. He ACTUALLY TOOK the pizza bac****!! He would rather take the pizza back than to take responsibility for their mistake and to still offer a good experience. But from the other bad responses I can see that good client service is not what they care about anymore.... Such a disappointment after years and years of supporting them and having good experiences....
