Papachinos does not need patrons - it is too much effort to allow reservations

I have just tried to book a table for Monday evening at PAPACHINOS Clearwater as it was my birthday and we wanted to enjoy a good dinner out to celebrate. I phoned Papachinos Clearwater and spoke to a Manager by the name of CLIVE. He refuses to take my booking for this evening although they are not fully booked, have no function booked, but will only take bookings for tables to 30% full and leave the rest 70% open for walk-ins. I want to book a table for 2 people for 18:30 pm that evening and wanted to make sure I got a table, yet Clive (The manager) refuses to take my booking. I can come there on Monday evening and he is sure they will help me. SO WHY CAN'T I BOOK A TABLE????? Are they so busy that they do not need my business??? I am sure we will find another restaurant that will gladly take my booking and my money for this evening and we did. We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Dopio Zero Clearwater Mall and the service was exemplary. ABSOLUTE DISGRACEFUL - Papachinos Clearwater. They will not see me again or my family.
