Papachinos Clearwater serves drinks with broken glass

<p>I am not one to normally name and shame but an evening out at PAPACHINOS CLEARWATER who prides themselves (as per the telephone message) on good food and service, was anything but on Thursday 15 September. I cannot fault our waiter who really was superb. The problem came firstly with my sister's Lasagne which was served ice-cold. We sent it back but to be honest - it was a disaster of a lasagne dish and she did not finish it! The 2nd incident came at the end of the evening, after playing, my 7 year came back to the table for a drink of water and as she finished the glass of water she took something out of her mouth and said "mommy, what's this?" After looking at it, I saw that it was a LARGE PIECE OF BROKEN GLASS about 5cm long and 2cm wide. I double-checked the glass to make sure it wasn't from the one she was drinking from and it wasn't. Fortunately, my child did not swallow the glass or cut herself. Any smaller and the outcome coudl hav ebeen vary different! I called the manager over who profusely apologised and assured us that we would be getting a phone call from the owner the next morning. No phone call was received, i gave it some time, eventually called back the following thursday and was again assured that owners had been notified of the incident and would be contacting me! To date I have yet to receive a phone call. So to all the parents out there that visit PAPACHINOS CLEARWATER, please check your children's drinks for broken glass or better yet - go somewhere else! </p>
