I was harassed and physically attacked and the manager did nothing .

Today my family and i went to Papachinos fourways Johannesburg and i was harassed and assaulted by a older woman (a customer). I was standing at the claw machine with my daughter . I felt someone had push me and i looked in shocked at who had done this . I tried to walk to the side of the machine . She pushed me again this time with force . i turned and said why are you being so rude..she said im young And I’m rude for not moving out the way and she is 65 years old with a limp . She proceed to push her hand on my face and said she will Fvck me up .. i said to her no i will slap you back you have no respect talking like that for your age and you want respect?

I did not physically react. I walked away upset .

I immediately went to a manager to hve this woman removed. The manager went to speak to the lady , mind you the lady and her daughter (I assume) was sitting next to us. We heard her tell the manager a whole lot of lies . But waitrons and guests as well as my family saw what she did .

The manager not once came back with feedback .

I was verbally and physically attacked and the manager decides to send me a slice of cake .

A slice of cake ?

I ask the manager , you send a slice of cake and think that that makes it better?

No all im saying is “ cant you calm down and enjoy your meal “

Giving him a chance to realise the mistake in his words i ask him did he just tell me to calm down ? He then. Repeated the above .

I felt belittled by this and took the cake and threw it to the ground .

I said to him “ I asked you to remove these people because of what they have done , this is a family restaurant and you are condoning this “

He said he wont be kicking out his customers . I said then ill leave and he has the audacity to tell me its fine leave .

This situation could have went another route. But By the manager not doing his job it went south.

I refused to pay a bill and we walked out . Can you believe they did nothing before about me being attacked but the managers ran out for the bill .

Seems customer service and safety was not their priority but the money is .
