GLASS IN MY FOOD

Good evening.

Last night 8 November around 6pm - we had a big table there for dinner with about 8 of us.

I had ordered a lasagne for supper.

My food arrived and it looked delicious. I had just started eating when I bit into something hard. I carried on eating as I was starving and thinking maybe it was a peppercorn. As I continued to eat I bit into something hard again, and that’s when I thought something isn’t right. I then pulled a piece of glass out my mouth(it wasn’t a big piece, but it was still glass) I Immediately called the waiter, Who then called the manager.

The manager came to the table to apologize and started making an excuse saying that he can’t control if glass gets into the Lasagna, as it does happen sometimes. He then didn’t ask me if I would maybe like to order something else off of the menu, or if he can maybe make me another one, but insisted I had the Alfredo pasta because it’s quick and easy. At this point I was very upset- firstly because I had eaten glass, and secondly because he had made a pathetic excuse instead of just apologizing to me and getting me something that I would have actually liked.

Cut a long story short, I didn’t Eat my food because I was so upset.

Then the bill came...

The lovely waiter had charged us for my lasagna. We then said to him that the lasagna is still on the bill??? He rep**** and said yes, you will be paying for that even though you had the Alfredo pasta(which is cheaper). I feel that this is no way to have treated me as a client. The waiter and manager clearly did not give a **** whatsoever. I should not have paid for my meal at all last night!!! Didn’t even offer a complimentary dessert or coffee or anything. This could be a huge court case if anything bad had gone wrong. I am very disappointed and will tell everyone about my experience at your restaurant.
