Bad Experience with Panel City.

Doing business with Panel City in Mthatha has been one of most excruciating experience ever. My broker asked me to take my vehicle for qoute in Mthatha after being in an accident, took the car there then they told me they can't quote me on the vehicle because they don't work with my insurance. Had to run around Mthatha looking for panel beater that could givw me a quote. I found it, did the quote and submitted the quote with my claim. My insurance found out that company that quoted me was not VW approved so they contacted Panel City to fix the vehicle and they accepted. Which made me angry because initially they refused to quote my vehicle.

After a long time of waiting for parts they eventually call me to bring in the vehicle to be repaired. After a month I received a call from the asking me to come and pick up the vehicle. I drove 230 km to pick up my vehicle and upon arrival they refused giving me my vehicle because there was outstanding excess to be paid. Then I asked them why did they call me? They didn't care about me they went on about their business ignoring me standing outside. In an exchange of email when I addressed the situation, Brenda denied that I was called to pick up the vehicle and **** to say that I arrived unexpectedly. Eventually the insurance paid and I was asked to pick up the vehicle. My Engen stopped running while driving, then took the car to a battery center where I was told that my battery was dead. My cat stood for a long time because they asked me to bring it in when they didn't have all the parts. They refused to take responsibility saying that it was not their fault.
