Pathetic Pandora
Good day,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you about the pathetic service and attitude of the staff in the Pandora stores! Floor staff and managers included! In all three of my encounters - in the Gateway, Galleria and La Lucia stores - the staff have been absolutely unhelpful and rude. This is absolutely disappointing, as Pandora stands for something special and sentimental and the staff, who are ultimately ambassadors of the brand, act as if they are doing you a favor when you require assistance of them. The manager at the Gateway store - Lee-Ann - was so irritable with customers, to a point where she was actually clicking her tongue continuously at the questions I was asking her. Further to this, she told us to complain if we had a problem, that we should escalate it to the managers (she introduced herself as the manager of the store). In La Lucia, a floor staff, was pulling the rings and snapping them back on their elastics where they were displayed, whilst I enquired about the sale items - he refused to take them out so I could see and instead, told me that I should know exactly what I am looking for and then he will show me the specified item. At Galleria, the lady on the floor, told me to move my baby and then got irritable about walking around a pram to show me charms.
Visiting Pandora stores in and around Durban have become an absolute nightmare. Pandora should focus on training their staff better, or will ultimately lose clients who value their brand.
