A very unsatisfied client

The 12th of December 2018, I went to pandora in the East Rand Mall to ask assistance with my necklace that I got as a present (which means I do not have the slip) from pandora in Namibia- where we were on holiday at the time.

Unfortunately my necklace broke and I took it to pandora to find out if it is possible to please fix. At first the guy said yes but it will only be possible to fix it in January because its over holiday time and the place that will fix the jewelry will be closed. Fair enough-

He suggested I take it to a different jewler (that is not pandora to fix it). I mentioned to him that I did and the jewler said its very fine work, its best I take it to pandora, which I did.

After mentioning that he then said maybe the it is too fine detail that pandora might not even be able to fix it. At this point I was furious, because how can you tell me that the detail is too difficult or too fine to fix if pandora is the place I bought it from, every single thing in pandora is made to the finest detail.

He then added that I will be charged if its sent in. Now not to be rude but this necklace was far over R1 000, now I have to pay for something that was already so expensive, more money to fix.

I'm not satisfied with the service I'm receiving from pandora.

To my conclusion I went to Swarovski to ask them if they are able to fix my necklace, seeing that the detail is "too fine" for pandora to fix. The salesman at the store said, they do not repair any jewelry, they replace it. (Now that I call service)

I ended up going to NWJ - also located in the east rand mall and they were more than willing to fix my pandora necklace.

I'm very very disappointed at the way pandora deals with jewelry that is damaged or broken that we as clients pay A LOT of money for. I expect the value of service as to the price value of your jewelry.
