Panbake’s Secret Ingredient: Plastic?

I bought a red velvet Swiss roll by Panbake from my local SPAR, and bit into a solid piece of plastic baked right into the cake. This wasn’t some tiny flake—it was big enough to cause real harm if swallowed or bitten the wrong way.

What’s worse is that after doing some research, I found multiple reviews of people finding foreign objects in Panbake’s baked goods. It seems this isn’t a one-off mistake—it’s a pattern. Based on others' experiences, Panbake has a reputation for ignoring these complaints or offering weak apologies with no accountability.

SPAR, as the retailer, should also take responsibility for stocking products with a clear quality control issue.

I don’t want compensation—I want basic food safety and responsibility. This could’ve been a child biting into it. Be better.
