Camcorder Hc-V160 Panasonic

I bought the Panasonic camcorder Hc-V160 . When recording videos with this camcorder every time you press pause and recording again a new file is created. In order to merge this files into one video file you have to buy additional software. I think when Panasonic installed this F&&$ing bull**** on their camcorder the least one would expect is that the necessary software is included in their deal. I wonder if their are some feedback's for each bought software. In future I avoid everything with the name Panasonic.
