Wait on deposit refund

My name is Alzetta Pondyi. I used to rent at 110 Longstreet, Flat no 3. (BMW-Building) Kimberley, with reference numberADN628. Rudolf Nel used to be my agent.

I signed a 6 month contract. My agent told me that usually deposit refunds take place within 6 weeks after moving out.I moved out on the 30th of July, and still up to today I haven’t received my deposit refund.that is due to me, MY MONEY.which is an amount of R5570.

At the end of the 6 months, I Asked my agent not to renew my contract (as u can see with the enclosed e-mail conversation). I asked him if a month to month contract was possible.He told me he will get back to me, which he did.. He however told me that the owner (Mr. Thomas) did not want such a contract.So I told him that I would rather moved out( see enclosed e-mail conversation). My agent told me that he did not want to lose me as a client, and that he will look for another place for me. I however found another place myself. I have been waiting patiently for my refund. To many months has passed.

I tried to reach my agent and enquire about my money. He reffered me to his manger, and told me he does not deal with refunds of deposits. I was very disappointed as he could have told me this earlier. I still has the “cold” sms which he send me.

Hope I can get my deposit refund as quick as possible and put this matter to rest
