Treated badly Pam Golding

I have seen a townhouse advertised on private property by Pam Golding Morningside. I contacted the company via the cellphone of the agent shown as the contact person on the advert by the name of Shantelle.

The reason for the call was to enquire about the availability and the actual place where the townhouse is based. At the beginning of the call I started by introducing myself to her and confirmed if I am talking to the right person then I proceeded to explain that I'm calling to enquire about the townhouse advertised for Morningside area in Durban she then cut me off while I was still talking and asked questions and her first question was that "what do I want to know about it? am I not aware that it's now lockdown? and what is it that I am expecting her to do because she can do anything or make means for me to view the apartment.. continued to ask as to which flat is that because she has a lot of apartments in that area" with all these questions being asked she couldn't even give me a chance to answer and explain.

Her tone of the voice was so high and you could tell she was just not eager to assist me and she was annoyed and irritated. At the beginning of the conversation I had stated that I want to know if the apartment is still available also mentioned the the name of the area where is it and the amount of the flat rental I'm enquiring about, but I assume she did not even hear me saying all that. I knew it's lockdown and I wasn't expecting her to make means for me to review the apartment I wanted to know if it's still available and which road is it based.

She continued asking me to explain to her as to where the flat is based yet the name of the road wasn't mentioned on advert and that was the reason for the call. She then continued to ask about how many of us because that's a small apartment for a working professional, told her it's my self and 2 kids she asked how much am I earning a month, after having told her, she quickly told me I have to earn 3 times the rental amount yet the what I'm earning is not even the half of the rental amount it's more.

I asked as to when did that law start because with all the flats I had rented I never heard of that and asked if it is a policy for Pam Golding only? she told me it's a credit buaero requirement.. When I was still talking she decided to hang off the phone. More than anything I am feeling that she has made me to feel less of a person and for the fact that she asked me so many questions in such a rude manner. I will not recommend this company to anyone because my understanding is that each and every company has its own mission, vision and values which all employees has to comply to and the behavior of this lady made me to assume and conclude that this is the way this company treat all their clients. In my whole entire life I have never been belittled by a person like this.
