We moved into a filthy house last year and reported more than 10 issues that we were not happy with, as they had asked us to check the things we were unhappy with. The house was in a state but we had no option but to fix most of the things ourselves as they never did anything about the numerous emails we sent. We paid for inspection together with the deposit, but that was never done. Now they want us to pay for silly things and cleaning the house whereas we actually left it in a better state than it was in when we moved in. These are tactics to withhold our deposit as they keep bringing up stupid things. Why must we pay for something that they aren’t even sure we are responsible for?
