Pam Golding property management of Glenhaw - unfairly blocking renovation application when application is compliant and certified

<p>I am the owner of a unit at Glenhaw on 93 Kloof Street, Gardens; which is managed by Pam Golding. I have been experiencing an extremely frustrating process to have kitchen renovations approved by the body corporate. The person from Pam Golding managing this is called Anneline Fortuin and I want to formally log a complaint regarding this person and I want to escalate this complaint so that I can speak to her reporting manager. Anneline Fortuin's handling of the renovations approval have been extremely frustrating, full of confusion and contradictions and is resulting in unfair and unreasonable delays to complete my renovations.</p> <p>First of all, let me clarify that I am requesting for the approval of renovations and not alterations. The renovations include geyser replacement, new tiling, new kitchen cabinets and new taps. I have submitted certfications from the Plumber and a letter from the certified plumber explaining the procedure and stating that the planned procedure is legal and compliant. This includes the connection of the geyser overflow pipe to the waste pipe.</p> <p>On 16th March 2017 I received confirmation from Anneline that the body corporate has approved the renovation application. On 29th March 2017, Anneline informed me that the body corporate has decided to revert the approval. When I asked why, she said that it's because the proposed outflow pipe connection to the waste pipe was *******. I was very confused by this because I have spoken to other plumbers and consulted with Sandak and Lewin property management and they have stated that the type of proposed work was legal and compliant. I then phoned again to get clarification, however I could not get through to Anneline and therefore I spoken to Peter Axmann and he confirmed that it was compliant as well. I then sent an email to both Peter and Anneline and submitted the letter they requested and yet haven't been able to get a straight answer from Anneline regarding the approval. In short, I am extremely frustrated that a perfectly simply and compliant task is being blocked unfairly by the Pam Golding representing the body corporate. This is causing a lot of stress and potential financial loss as I am unable to rent out the property until the renovations are complete.
