Not Reliable. I hope that if you are renting out a property that you watch out for Pam Golding Properties. I was renting out a property on my own for many years unit I was caught by some dishonest and scrupulous tenants whose planned from the beginning to get away from paying rent and cheat me out of rental. So I thought that Pam Golding had a good name, I just didn't want to get caught again so I signed up with them only to find that they are just as dishonest as the previous tenants. I am a person who plays safe and because I was previously cheated by my previous tenants for over R75 000 I thought that Pam Golding would look after my interests. So they came to me with a tenant who I was really not sure about, so I said that we can only give this tenant a chance if he were to pay a double deposit. So Pam Golding agreed the tenant agreed, but they never secured the double deposit. Since they keep the deposits they should ensure that they are paid. So this tenant as I suspected caused a lot of trouble for the Body Corporate was super aggressive and hence I received huge fines, he stopped paying his rent and electricity by the end of it all he owed me a lot of money. We finally got this faulty tenant out and then I asked for the deposits to be paid to me so I could cover my costs. Pam Golding hadn't secured a double deposit. The person dealing with it said that I must go to the rental tribunal to get my money from the guy. I complained to the head office customer services not once did they respond to my emails. To date no one from Pam Golding customer service has even answered my emails. If anything they should go to the rental tribunal on my behalf since I was paying them a fee every month to do nothing! I feel that Pam Golding owes me the rest of my deposit since they agreed to secure a double deposit.
