Intentional Omission of information

We recently viewed and decided to rent a property through Pam Golding. The rental contract stated that the cost of rent included an 'active DSTV subscription'. Being sport *****s, this was a huge draw card for us.<br> <br> Upon moving into the house (and finally getting the DSTV working without any assistance from the contract manager about 1 and a half months into the lease), we discovered that we had been duped and the subscription was, infact, a limited selection of channels - basically excluding all the sport and movie/Mnet channels which are the only reason anyone wants DSTV in the first place.<br> <br> Numerous requests later and the agent/owner refuse to budge. The argument is that they never specified the package. I think this intentional omission of detail is in terribly poor taste and I struggle to believe that Pam Golding allows this kind of treatment to their customers. A once highly regarded agency has hit rock bottom in my books. Needless to day, this lease will be my last with Pam Golding and i'd encourage other to ensure the same. If you can't trust the agency, then it's safer to look elsewhere.
