Incompetence
Please refer this enquiry directly to the complaints department to the highest point of escalation.
I am a new homeowner of a home reverently purchased through Pam Golding.
My jouney started with viewing a beautiful home with a stunning fitted kitchen that I found on Property24. I proceeded to view the home in an emasculate condition and I instantly fell in love with it as the Kitchen sold me.
I put in an offer and the process begun. Fast forward a few months later I now own the home and have been in the house for about a week. With being a new homeowner one can imagine the excitement and joy and as a result little things get overlooked.
The first of these little things is the fact that the estate agent I dealt with was rather cold in her demeanor when I accepted the keys.
Secondly, today I was showing a frin d of mine the pictures of the kitchen that I took from Property24 displaying the beautiful kitchen which had a silver 600mm oven in it. When I viewed the home I saw that exact same oven.
Only today I realized that the oven currently in my home is black and old and I’m no way the same or even similar to the one I saw as advertised and as viewed personally.
As an estate agent you obviously have to be good at what you do and competent enough to notice that something has change with one of the fixtures in the home. To my mnowl she I do not think that this estate agent even knew that the oven had been changed which makes me question her competence. As per terms and condition stipulated in the OTP I signed all fixtures need to remain in the home unless otherwise specified.
I find very disappointing that this has happened and it was notoicked up or relayed to me by the agent. The previous owner as well as Pam Golding is then guilty of participating in false advertising and the previous owner guilty of *****.
This might seem like a petty matter, however it is the principle of good business. It is only an oven, however I have paid for this house and your agency has received their commission on a house sold where an oven was falsely advertised.
1. What are the steps and process that needs to be followed in order to get the original oven back into the home 2. I require a swift response and feedback on this matter 3. I am able to provide evidence in the form pictures. 4. Should my enquiry go u acknowledged and unaddressed, I will be taking this matter to social media to display the i competence this matter was handled with.
Yours in extreme anticipation, Mr Z Noordien
