False advertising or *********** agents

I've asked to view properties advertised by Pam Golding in the Buccleuch area for 3 months. At first the agent called me and confirmed a viewing only to postpone it since Monday was too busy a day for him in the office and then cancelled as I was leaving to meet him in peak traffic because he did not finish his office work. Then I tried again over and over to query and arrange viewings for properties advertised for months with on response. Eventually I used their website to query several properties at once and the same agent responded saying its not a problem and he would arrange everything for me - on the day of the viewing, nothing was arranged and raised a complaint on property websites by reporting their listings as being **** since how can an agent or seller not be willing to allow a pre-qualified buyer to view an advertised property. These agencies push owners to give them sole mandates, but then do nothing to really sell the property except advertise online. If they sell it, they demand a huge amount of money as commission. I hope homeowners read this and choose to move away from such pathetic agencies - rather advertise yourself, it will cost you a lot less.
