Do Not Trust Pam Golding Agents

Pam Golding advertised a property that was for rent on Property 24 . Being a trust worthy source I contacted their office of which the agent assisted me to view the property. I then contacted her back and advised the agent that I would like to take the property . She advised me that I need to ensure that the deposit is being paid to secure the property . With out any hesitation I paid the full deposit. Being December I contact the agent and asked her when we can move in , she then advice that should we want to move in prior to the commence date we have to pay a prorate payment to move in , on which I declined as I was informed that I will only be able to collect the keys on the 27 December as the prorate already started on the 25 December . I proceeded with the payment of the Rental in advance and the contract fee to ensure all is in place . On the 28 December 2017 I went to the office of Pam Golding to collect the keys for us to move in . On entering the property we found that all electricity wires was ****** , door handles was removed the kitchen door was vandalized and the house could not be secured at Night or day . I immediately contacted the agency and informed her of the problem . She then confirmed that she is not able to get hold of the owner to get this repaired . On the 29 December I have been placed in a real predicament we had to be out of the premises we were in at the end of the day . The agency has avised us that if payment is not **** within 24 HRS and the new lease is not signed we are not allowed to remove any of our property . I then contacted Pam Golding again and advised them that I won't be able to move in as I this is the situation that I am in . The agent then advice me that I am in breach of contract as they will ensure that the electrician is being send to the house and I need to hand over the keys to him . I then went met with the electrician and handed him the keys . The agent contacted me the following week Friday and advised me once again that I am in breach and the remained of my money will not be paid as they have repaired the electricity. But still the house was still not secure that they failed to ensure that all repairs on the locks was also completed as the house could not lock this was on the 9th of January and she was not able to provide me with a valid reason why the cant pay the remaining money over to me .At this stage Pam Golding and their clients is within breach of Contract as she now advised me that they will pay me on the payout of the client receiving the insurance claim . On passing the house during the month of January I notice that there was people residing within the premises , I then contacted the agent again and she advised me that the owner has moved into his own property .Following up during the course of January and February the agent advised both me and my wife that the problem is no longer hers and that we need to deal with the owner . Not taking into consideration that I signed a contract with Pam Golding who is the representative for both parties and that I do not intervene with the owner but with them. To date I have not received back any of the contact fee money and my full rental month and would like to urge all to be very careful of agents especially Pam Golding as this is going to cost me more money in taking this to my legal department if not being resolved to ensure that protocol is in place at all time.
