Additional levies
In July/August 2020 me and my wife purchased a 2 bedroom second floor flat at Impala court, DE lock Street Parowvalley advertised by Pam Golding estate agents. The advert indicated that the levies each month was at R750. We bought the property because of the low cost levies. After everything was signed and the property was registered in our name, our first statement came in middle of August from Whitfield property Management Body Corporate indicating levies of R750 plus additional levies of R486. We were never informed about this additional levie until after registration of the property. We contacted Pam Golding agents and their answer was that whatever changes happens to levies after registration of properties are not their issue but the body corporate's. We contacted Whitfield Management to say we did not budget for this extra cost each month and can't afford the additional levie but they are adement we pay and it's not their fault. Now me and my wife are sitting with unnecessary and unforeseen debt because of interest accumulating. We are afraid of losing our valuebles or home. Please can someone advise as to what to do. Thank you so much
