Wheel alignment R250, broken key R650, bad day priceless.

I did my wheel alignment at Palm Tyres George on Monday. I was there just after 16h00. When they got to my vehicle it was almost closing time. They handed me back a broken key, no apology, nothing. The guy just put the broken key next to me on the counter. I did not immediately see the broken key. The bakkie was open, I climbed in, tried to start, realised the key is broken. I ran into the shop and said "what happened, someone broke my key". The wheel alignment guy said he got it like that on the ramp and thought that was the way the key looked. He went out to the bakkie and started the bakkie with the broken key, so the broken off piece was still in the ignition. They told me to drive like that. One of the staff told me "not to try and open the bakkie with the broken key"...I mean really, is that your advice to me? The other one said I must come back, he will take out the broken piece with a tweezer. I was not offered the services of a locksmith. My stress levels were sky-high...here I am, woman alone in George, on my way to Plettenberg Bay where I work and now I have a huge problem which they caused and seem not to care about. I eventually just drove off. Locksmith costs R650.00 to take out ignition and remove broken piece. You will never see me again, Palm Tyres.
