Palinggat Oord

This secure resort lies close to pristine beaches, variety of coffee shops and a small shopping centre.

This is a neat and safe resort with gardens, families of Pheasants walking around and baby buck. It has squash courts, tennis court and a swimming pool. There are a variety of activities in the communal hall including a JosGen Service on a Sunday morning.

Most of the chalets and cottages are privately owned but many are made available for holiday accommodation contact the office for more information.

You are within walking distance to the historical site where you can feed eels or walk to the Goukou river, to swim, boat or fish. Licences are available at municipality.

If you have time it's worth a visit to Kasselshoop for a variety of mouthwatering cheeses, and I'm told the best pizzas or join a tour through Inverroche gin distillery.
