Charged twice for the same

On 7 February 2019 I booked into the hotel for 1 night. For some reason the amount of R996.30 was put through my debit card twice and I indicated this to the receptionist. The two payments are there on Booking.com as we speak and they are clearly two different payments. The receptionist said she could not help me and my money was never refunded. Just seeing this double charge on Booking.com just irritates.
