PACKLITE BAGS - DO NOT BUY

Please do yourself a favour and DO NOT buy any paklite luggage bag!!

I bought mine pre-covid (1 month before), used it for the first time in July 2022 to fly locally (due to covid, there were restrictions), and had my bag wrapped as we all know how they handle them at the airports. The bag is hard case Bag and it got severely damaged, huge crack on the corner and the handle does not open well now since flying. This bag was wrapped and the type of material it is made of, should have been strong enough to handle how PAKLITE know how airports treat luggage. You expect for the amount of money that you spend, for the quality of the material to be what you pay for. There is a 3-year warranty of which I am still within the valid period. I have all correspondence in writing between myself and them. I reported the bag damaged through to them through the warranty and they came back to me to state the following which was communicated through "ONE DAY ONLY" where I bought the bag from... "After the supplier assessed the bag, they voided the warranty. It was further stipulated that if there was a quality issue, this should have been reported within the stipulated timeframe. That said, I do urge you to log a claim for the damages at the airport."

What shocked me the most is that not only did I report within the time period, (as I submitted proof of receipt), as stated above, according to them I did not and that they took the liberty to void my warranty after they assessed the damage bag.

As far as I am concerned, they have no care for customers, their brand, and their quality and as far as I am concerned, they sold a refurbished bag and will not take responsibility. I have all the email correspondence and I have lodged a case at the Consumer Protection Act. Don't buy from them, they only interested in selling and no care for the aftermarket.
