Avoid Padmor Home Maintenance / Paddy Morrow at all costs!

<p>In 2013 I contracted Paddy Morrow of Padmor Home Maintenance, Highway Area of KZN, to gut and renovate my bathroom. After numerous call backs to fix defective workmanship which included an unsecured bath that moved significantly when stood in (due to a failure to pack underneath and to rest the bath on wooden battons), a leaking shower and poor paint work, i eventually told him to vacate the site and to not return. Barely 3 years later, my parents in law who are now living in the house have had to re-renovate the bathroom due to persistant leaks, moving bath etc. On removing the shower tiles, it emerged that no water proofing had been done behind the tiles and that bulders rubble had been used to 'pack' under the bath. No wooden battons were used either. Total cost of the renovation in 2013 was approximately R30 000. Cost to re-renovate ??</p>
