Surprised by this small company with BIG service!

I decided to take a chance with these guys after I found they were the only ones with spares I needed to repair an old Coleman cooler. I was initially sceptical since I never heard from them before and their website wasn't able to show me whether or not they actually had stock on the item I was interested in. Also I couldn't see how much they would charge for delivery.

Since the item was of low value I decided the risk was quite low especially since I didn't have to make any payment at the time of placing the order.

I proceeded with the enquiry part of the process to determine stock and delivery charges late Sunday evening. This is where the magic began!

I sort of forgot about this and only on Monday evening I checked my gmail account again. I saw they actually already had a reply waiting in my inbox first thing on Monday morning. They indicated they had stock and would deliver to my office in Pretoria for only R70! I proceeded to make the payment via credit card and their "no fuss" payment gateway.

To my surprise I got a response from them in less than an hour after payment, even though this was after-hours! They confirmed payment and explained the item would be handed over to their courier partners by Tuesday morning along with the tracking details as well as a commitment to have the item delivered to my door on Wednesday!

When walking in to my office this morning the item was already waiting for me on my desk!

I didn't take the time to compare their prices with other vendors so I won't comment on that side of things but in terms of service, communication and delivering on their promise, I can't fault these guys!

I've been mainly using Takelot for my online purchases and have got used to certain things like real-time stock indication and delivery charges. I'm sure they do have a massive development team which makes those things possible but in terms of service they have nothing on Packrat!

I would highly encourage anyone to make use of this company!
