Delay in fixing leaking roof
I have a unit in Ebeth Park that has a leaking roof. In fact 3/4 of the second floor units are affected.
In short I lost a tenant end of 2014 due to the water damage that was created. We couldn't find a new tenant for 5 months (also consider the holiday period) because of this problem. In the meantime we renovated the unit inside to make it more presentable...tiled, painted etc.

Our rental agent, Lorraine Properties have since been trying for the last 4 months to get PPA solutions to fix the roof (their responsibility!!!!). Promises promises promises....nothing so far. We eventually got a tenant the 1st of March who stipulated that she takes the unit with the understanding that the roof will be fixed. She however is now looking for alternative rental units somewhere else due to the leaking roof.

Why are we paying levies PPA??? Because of your lack of interest we've had severe loss of income. and it looks like the current tenant is leaving as well. *** are we suppose to do? Legal action now?
