OXFORD HEIGHTS, MONTANA — A PLACE THAT HAS GONE DOWNHILL. WORST PLACE TO EVEN CONSIDER LIVING
As I write this, it is 1:00 AM on a Sunday morning, and we have just been woken up by an unacceptable level of noise.
I lived at Oxford Heights three years ago, and I can honestly say that the situation has deteriorated terribly. The level of noise, lack of consideration for residents, and apparent lack of effective security have made this place somewhere I no longer feel comfortable or safe living.
What was once a place I knew as residential accommodation now feels more like an unmanaged hostel or student residence, where everyone does whatever they want without any regard for the people living around them.
The security situation is particularly disappointing. Where are the security guards? Are regular patrols still being conducted, or are residents simply expected to fend for themselves? From what I have observed, there appears to be very little visible security presence or enforcement of basic residential rules.
The noise is another serious problem. My neighbour frequently has different male visitors, with people sitting on the balcony late into the night, smoking, talking loudly, and disturbing the peace. This is not about who visits whom or how people choose to live their private lives. It is about basic respect, consideration for neighbours, and the right to enjoy some peace in your own home.
It is now 1:00 AM, and residents should not have to put up with this nonsense in what is supposed to be a residential complex.
Honestly, I am extremely disappointed. A residential complex without effective security, proper noise control, and consistent enforcement of its rules is a serious concern. People pay rent expecting a reasonable standard of living, security, and peace of mind. Those expectations should not be too much to ask.
At this point, I would not recommend Oxford Heights to anyone looking for a quiet, secure, family-oriented environment. Management urgently needs to address the noise, improve security patrols, and start enforcing the rules consistently.
If you are looking for a student-residence or hostel-style environment where noise and disturbances appear to go unchecked, you might find this place suitable. But if you value peace, security, and a comfortable home for your family, I would strongly advise you to think twice.
Oxford Heights management, please take responsibility. Residents deserve better than this.
