Accident claim SPM 374225

I was involved in an accident which was not my fault I was hit from behind my vehicle got damaged now oxford claim and legal service says they are not paying me because there was diesel on the road but they should take some responsibility for the accident because they client damaged my vehicle because I managed to stop and not hit the vehicle in front of me.VERY ANGRY AND IT UNFAIR.
