Contractor disappearing with payment

Very bad experience with this contractor (Wikus Matthee). Due to his poor workmanship, the premises flooded. He disappeared with money (as he always had soppy stories as to why he had to be paid out before he finished a job). He was paid to finish the project, but disappeared with our money. He ignores all calls, emails, whatsapp's, etc. It now cost us an additional R55 000 to fix his work and snags after we paid him close to R800 000!
