Your promo is a time waster

While I am extremely impressed with the Advisor, Priscilla Mafa, who helped me with a quote, I am not impressed with your promotion that offers R400/R800 if your quote does not beat my current insurance.

Firstly, there is no link to request a quote on the page that advertising the promotion ( on Android...I can't speak for desktop) I then went to the home page and started filling out details requesting a quote. Before submitting the final details, Ms Mafa had called.

She spent over an hour taking details and giving excellent customer service, 100% efficient and helpful. Sadly, the quote was still lower than my current insurance, so it wasn't worth making a change, despite prospective bonuses. Now you promise a cash payout of you can't beat my current insurer...

The problem came in with the promotion... The person who had referred me to Outsurance had said that, should the quote be higher, I would get a pin number sent via SMS to follow up on the promotion part. The Advisor didn't know about this, so I cannot proceed. You may not have been able to help me with a lower quote, but others that I would've told about the promotion may well have become your customers!

It has left a bad taste in my mouth, not so much for losing out on your promotion and an hour of my life, but because one very kind and helpful agent was hoping for a commission, I expect, and Outsurance had not informed her of the possibility of the promotion working against her. Ms Priscilla Mafa who did Quote number ***6 for me, you are worth 5 stars. Your company, not so much!
