To whom it may concern,

My name is Christo du Toit. I recently had the misfortune of being in a serious car accident in which my beloved Audi A3 was written off. Just a few days later, I also lost my wallet — along with my ID and driver’s license — which only added to the stress and uncer*****y.

As if the accident wasn’t traumatic enough, I began to worry that this situation would delay or even prevent my claim from being processed. But little did I know that I was in the capable hands of South Africa’s number one insurer — OUTsurance.

On the day of the accident, I was met by a gentleman from Eagles Towing. As expected, they were the first on the scene. I was in shock, but he calmly helped me find my phone and contact my loved ones. What I didn’t realize at the time was that he was already making arrangements in the background. While I was being seen to by the amazing team from Hemz Ambulance, he had already contacted OUTsurance and secured approval to proceed. By the time I was discharged, he had a reference number ready for me. That kind of initiative and care meant the world to me in such a difficult moment.

Then, the very next day, I received a call from one of the kindest, most professional ladies I’ve ever spoken to. She was from OUTsurance and guided me step by step through the claims process. She advised me to renew my car’s license disc — which was three months overdue — and to replace my lost driver’s license as soon as possible. She kept in regular contact with me, sometimes calling up to three times a day to check if I needed help or had managed to sort things out. She even searched online to find the nearest licensing offices for me. That level of care and persistence is something I’ll never forget.

Despite the delay caused by not having my documents, my claim was paid out within six days of the accident. Had I been able to submit everything upfront, it would have been settled in just two days. That’s how efficient and committed the OUTsurance team was.

Thanks to OUTsurance, not only did we receive outstanding service, but our lives were turned around. We were able to replace our car with a brand new BMW X3, and — just to add even more joy to the moment — we found out last night that my wife is pregnant.

It may sound unbelievable, but in just six days, OUTsurance helped change our lives from a complete low point to one of the most joyful moments we've ever experienced. You truly lived up to your promise — you always get something out.
