Yet another LIFE THREATHING dissapointment by Outsurance

Early in the year I had numerous of problems and misunderstanding with outsurance that only got resolved due the assistance of this platform/THANKS TO HELLO PETER.

Unfortunately this time around it has been a LIFE THREATHING mess up outsurance has done towards my life on the road and that of my car. I found out yesterday (08/10/2019 around 14pm) through a casual enquiry to Oscar Maluh about the status of my policy and a past rejected claim. He had confirmed that my policy had been cancelled for the past 7 months, which I was not aware off, so in other words I have been driving on the road with no cover for the last 7 months. I could have been in an serious accident, been hijacked etc. or even lost my life thinking that I have a car insurance.

Oscar also further confirmed that in the system no communication was made to me about this cancellation, his second phone call to me was based on blaming IT systems for the cancellation. Oscar was left speechless that this was the second time that this "IT OOPSY" had taken place where earlier in the year I received an apology and refund for my policy being "mistakenly" cancelled for a month by Outsurance. Now it was a 7 months mess up.

I am request that instead of the blame being always shifted to the "IT Systems" that the responsible parties take ownership of the repetitive mess up. I disagree with the consultant that mentioned that even if something did happen to me on the road he is confident that Outsurance would have still got my back how when I no longer have a black and white policy or anything stating this statement.

Seeing that this has happened once to many times with due right I request a token/form of compensation by Outsurance.

Hello Pearl

You are not at all being unreasonable in expressing your concern and frustration!

The unfortunate error which was discussed i March, was sadly not rectified at the time, hence the reinstatement not being done at the time.

Our client care manager, Fairbridge contacted you with an apology and provided you with feedback. We also wish to assure you that a claim during this time would not have been affected by the fact the policy was not reinstated yet.

Fairbridge proceeded by sending you an email confirming this, together with the cover type and premium, as requested.

We will wait for your response.

Regards
OUTsurance
