Writing a new policy without my approval to get commission
Most of these people can sell, but NEVER can deliver a service. Long story short. I was in a small accident in May 2024. My wife had to urgently drive me to and from the doctors, and I was unable to drive myself. Insurance refused to pay out for my wife does not have a drivers licence. We were told that if we claim our out-bonus will fall away! Since August, we have had numerous difficulties with outsurance not collecting the debit order. Outsurance calls me a **** saying I cancelled the debit order. Suddenly, there is a new policy and new payment in place. Did an outsurance agent cancel our policy and write up a new one for commission?
Every month, I have to phone outsurance regarding the debit order that they once again have not requested. Money is in the account, WAITING for this debit order. If something happens to the insured vehicle, Outsurance will be held accountable, not me, for I HAVE NOT CANCELLED MY DEBIT ORDER AT ALL.

After responding privately to your review, we escalated the matter to Mapula, our client services manager.
Mapula contacted your husband, the policy holder, to address his concerns. The policy previously cancelled as payment was stopped at the bank. The policy was then reinstated, and the payment was stopped again. If a client stops the payment at the bank, the policy will be cancelled as we don't have the authority to debit the account. Mapula advised your husband to provide us with a letter from the bank stating that payment wasn't stopped however your husband declined.
Regarding the claim rejection, a condition of cover is that the incident driver must have a valid driver's license.
