Worst Experience of my Life!!!!!

I was involved in a bumper bash in February. As it was not my fault, i decided to claim from the other drivers insurance, namley Outsurance. I was told to submit all photos and details of the claim and was given a claim number ********** 66. I had to call in and put in a claim against outsurance which was firstly strange to me. I was then that i need to wait 6 weeks for the claim to be finalized and that i had to follow up if not they would not give me feedback. This again was rather strange and the lady Flow Chidi refused to give me feedback unless i followed up.
I also had to take time out of work and go get a quote for the repairs. I submitted this quote to outsurance. At week 5 of the claim they come back and say that the registration doc i submitted was wrong. Why only in week 5??? Nonetheless i aubmitted tbe correct document. 6 weeks passed and i received no feedback still, i followed up and on Monday i received an offer. The offer was half of the quote that i submitted. The panelbeater i got a quote from said that the damage was in the centre of the bumper and needed to be replaced. Outsurance said that their assessor has approved a second hand bumper and paint work amounting to half of what i claimed. They also mentioned that my car was inspected in Bloemfontein yet i stay in Jhb so how was this assessment done? How can you give me a used bumper without me even inspecting it. How do i now go to Bloem to have the bumper fixed?? To date i have not received any justification on my points. Considering my quote that i got is two months old also means that my cost of actual repairs might be more. Further i cant even claim from my own insurance because itnis past two months old.
This process of soing things looks very *****ulant and dodge to me. Did Flow have to wait the fl 6 weeks to sort out he claim and i am now in week 7 going for week 8 and still no feedback as to why outsurance **** about the car being assessed in Bloemfontein or no reason why they feel they need to put a second hand bumper on my car??
This bumper bash was not my fault and now i am sitting in a situation where i have to run around chasing after outsurance, i am not an outsurance client so is this how they treat other peoples claim yet the accident was not my fault. All i asked for is to pay what is due on the quote. The panelbeater i got a quote from is a reputable BMW approved repairer and i am not accepting an offer for half from a panel beater that i have never even heard of .

i am not settling for anything less than what was on the quote and again this was not my fault so how can ypu pay me what you feel is just and means i must cover the balance??

i am tired of chasing after you guys, i expect a call from a senior manager to finalize my claim if not i will gladly take legal action and report this to the ombudsman as this is clearly a *****ulant case as nobody came to inspect my car so how can the report say that the car was inspected in Bloem when i reside in Jhb.

Hello kivashen-moodley

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention.

Our liability claims manager, Elizna contacted you with an apology for the poor service you have experienced up to now.

She has since updated the assessment report, as the vehicle model was incorrect and a service provider in Johannes burg has been appointed.

You will receive a further update as soon as possible.

Regards

Dinky
