Worst Car Insurance
I was in an accident on 14 March 2024. My car was taken to the yard same time, and I received my rental car the same day. My car was then picked up by the Impact Panelbeaters on the 18 March 2024. It is now the end of May and it has been extremely stressful and exhausting to get updates on my car from both the panelbeaters and OUTsurance. At one point OUTsurance even told me that it is not their job to facilitate communications between myself and the Panelbeaters. My rental car was taken away from me after 30 days with not a single thing being touched on my car. On 24 April 2024, another rental car was approved until 9 May 2024. However, 30 April at 4PM I get a call from OUTsurance to say the rental must be returned on 1 May (regardless of email confirmation stating 9 May) - of which I was charged collection fees as Hertz had to make a plan to collect on a public holiday. When I ask OUTsurance for updates I get excuses that the panelbeaters aren't responding. Right now, I am still being told by the panelbeaters that they are waiting for parts and it will take another 1-2 months for the parts to arrive, while OUTsurance sits quietly on the sidelines refusing to intervene.
Further to our private reply, we can confirm that the outstanding part will arrive today for the repairs to resume.
Parts delays are currently a global issue and while we do make regular follow ups and try to expedite, it is out of our control.
Our client liaison advisor Terry has been unsuccessful in her attempts to contact you and has subsequently sent you an email.

The OUTsurance Team
