Why is Outsurance Stonewalling Us
We can’t help but feel that we are the recipients of poor service from Outsurance. We submitted a claim to Outsurance, 2 June 2017. Outsurance rang us, 15 June, and informed us that our claim had been rejected. We subsequently requested a review of the decision made, 19 June. By 14 August we still had not heard any news regarding any progress made about the review process, so we sent a follow up e-mail inquiring about progress made etc. It’s now the 28th of August and no one has even had the courtesy to reply to our e-mail. Every blog on the internet suggests that when an Insurer acts like this they are acting in bad faith, which is a very disappointing read. Who do we believe the internet or keep on waiting for an Insurer who doesn’t even have the courtesy to respond to us. If we were cynical it would be easy to think that we are just been played for our monthly premium. In addition to this complaint, we recently updated our insurance policy with Outsurance and in response received not 1, but 3 “conflicting” schedules. Yes, they say different things. Outsurance request that issues are sorted out with them first before going to the Ombudsman. We’re trying, but no one seems to be at home. In these circumstances the phrase “Outsurance You Always Get Something OUT” seems depreciating and anything but uplifting. Perhaps all you get out is just one "big klap"...
