We look for a reason to pay... what a joke 4th time no payout

Wow I must be stupid to have stayed a loyal client of Outsurance for so long and that after they have found reasons not to pay out a vehicle claim.

First I claimed for my boat transam and Outsurance stated that a transam is a wear and tear what a load of bull as a transam is actually embedded in fibre glass holding the motor on, after threatening to go to the ombudsman and cancelling my policy they relooked at the claim and authorised payment.

Then my Opel was broken into and the door was damaged, for this they wanted to write the car off and pay the bank the outstanding amount leaving me with no car, again I threatened but this time against a brick wall and I was left with no option but to pay for the repairs myself to get the door and steering column fixed.

In January 2017 my Kia fan belt snapped and damaged the ***ling, radiator and bonnet including the heat shroud protecting the paint of the bonnet, again Outsurance stated they dont repair mechanical damage and I had to repair this all on my own. They stated they would look at the bonnet but increased my excess a short while before the incident when I wanted to cancel my policy they sweetend the deal to bring down my premuim but increased my excess. Again I was left to sort all the problems out at my own cost questioning why I was paying for insurance.

Well low and behold I had an accident hitting a goat on teh N14 this Tuesday and again Outsurance stated they will pay for the bumper and bull bar but not the bonnet which by the way now has a huge dent on it when the goat hit it.

According to Outsurance more directly Katlego Sibanyoni in claims and Anthony Knight the assessor they state that the bonnet was damaged previously and therefore will not be repaired by Outsurance. Well what happened to reinstating your car or the insurred party back to teh state I/the vehicle was in before hitting the goat. I can assure you there was absolutly no dents on teh bonnet, I do agree that the paint was faided and off where the fanbelt hit it from teh bottom but firstly this was on the other side of the bonnet and not where the goat hit and dented the bonnet as well as to leave me the client with a dented bonnet did not bring me back into the possition that I was in prior to the accident.

Amazingly enough everyone I have spoken to about the issues I am having before I even mention that I am insurred with Outsurance they state you must be insurred by Outsurance as THEY ALWAYS look for a reason not to pay.

Well Outsurance I may be a small little client of yours I have introduced a few of my friends to Outsurance and these are the first that I am spreading the news how poor your service is as well as informing them where I will be moving to so that thye can move with as well as I will be taking teh matter up with the ombudman and surely be cancelling my policy with the worst insurance company SA has ever seen.
