Urgent Assistance with car insurance matter

I kindly need clarity.

Last month, I was accompanying my wife to Menlyn Mall to get some goodies for the bridal shower, I accidentally bumped into another person’s car. I was driving her car which is insured with Outsurance and has a comprehensive cover. Upon realizing what happened, I explained to the affected party about how sorry I was. We exchanged the necessary documents, and I went to the nearest police station to report the accident. I later forwarded the affected party with the Accident Report number.

I also called Outsurance, informed them about the accident since I was driving the car. My wife later handled all the outstanding matters. Outsurance requested that the affected to get three quotes from the approved panel beaters.

Today, I the got a call than they are declining the claim on the reasons that I’m I not covered by the third party and I need to forward the claim to my insurance. I do not understand because I am not covered with them but Miway. I called Miway to clarify the matter and they’ too we’re surprised.

I kindly request your assistance with resolving this matter. I am confused.
