Unsatisfied customer

I have lodged a claim with OUTsurance on the 1st of December 2023 for attempted break-in into my SUV'S sunroof, they attempted to cut the rubber and think they are gaining entrance through there but only cause damaged. I have been forward and back with this company by way of telephonic conversations-mails and even took the car for an inspection to a dealer appointed by them. Numerous employes phoned me cause i instructed my Bank to cancel their debit order so that i can get clarification of what is going on? If they don't want to settle my claim man up and let me know, I personally think they are the worst company to deal with and will not recommend anybody to ensure with them and i have informed them as well. Unfortunately, I am in the automotive business and every time my case will be escalated with umpteenth callers and no feedback from them the less i have a good word for them.

Hello Riaan

Further to our private reply to you, we received feedback from our assessing manager that he was in contact with you.
He confirmed the damage to the sunroof was a result of wear and tear, which is unfortunately not a covered peril. Added to this, no signs of forced entry were identified.

We understand your disappointment and we are sad to see you decided to cancel your policy with us.

You have our best wishes for the future.

Regards
The OUTsurance Team
