Unicorns and Fairytales

I saw an advert on Outsurance website I was attracted by Outsurance claiming they are listed as the number 1 insurance in SA. (Also checked reviews published on Hello Peter). I am currently paying less than R700 on car insurance with another insurance company. I called for a Car insurance quote and was shocked at a premium quoted R600 more than my current insurance company. I have my driver’s license since 2002 that is almost 15 years without being involved in any accident. I am turning 37 and married. I don’t see why I would pay more than what I am currently paying – does not make sense to me at all. Insurance should be less the older a person gets not the other way around.

I saw advert the orther day promising a R400 incentive if Outsurance can’t beat current premium. When I finished the call with call centre agent he did not even mention this to me. I guess it’s all lies and fairy tales.
