Unhappy how outsurance treats innocent third party claimants
OUTSURANCE Outsurance has told me that the law says even though i was driving in a straight line and in motion that I'm responsible to pay 40% of the damages to my vehicle caused by their client, who without indicating, turned in front of me. I slammed on the brakes and skid on the road but unfortunately still drove into the side of his vehicle, so there was no negligence on my side. To add insult to injury they access my damages through photos and sent out a quote at least half of what independent panel beaters have indicated. When i called Outsurance and told them that some obvious damages were left off the quote and that i want to bring my vehicle to them to do proper quote, which they originally said I could do, but I must book an appointment. After getting my vehicle running, I called Mr Lancelot Segola to book said appointment, he told me that I can no longer bring my vehicle as the quote was already completed through photos and that unforseen damages will be adjusted as they go along, not allowing me to make an informed decision of what I need to pay, though I do believe that i should not have to pay for their clients negligence. If there is some legal person that i can be directed to, to help me in this matter it will be greatly appreciated.
